Inclusive Festival 2026

ハンズオン東京は、20周年記念の活動の一環として、東京都教育委員会およびBumB東京スポーツ文化館と共催で「インクルーシブフェスティバル2026」を開催しました。本プログラムは「高校生世代みんなで考えるインクルーシブ in BumB」の中核となる体験イベントとして実施されました。

ダイバーシティ＆インクルージョンをテーマにした体験ブースには、のべ282名の皆さんにご参加いただき、113名のボランティアの皆さんが活動を支えてくださいました。会場は笑顔とあたたかな雰囲気に包まれ、障がいの有無、年齢、性別、国籍、文化的背景に関わらず、さまざまな人が出会い、体験し、交流する一日となりました。

ブラインドスポーツクラブ乃木坂ナイツのブース「ダイバーシティ・レクリエーション」では、参加者の皆さんがアイマスクを着けてゲームに挑戦し、相手の気持ちを想像しながら、楽しくコミュニケーションをとるレクリエーションを体験していただきました。

NPO法人両育わーるどの皆さんには、障がいや難病のある方を「本」として迎え、参加者が「読者」となって対話を行う「ヒューマンライブラリー」と、見え方・聞こえ方・体の動かしにくさなどの違いを実際に体感する「シンクボックス」を実施していただきました。参加した方からは、「これまで知らなかった背景や想いに触れ、相互理解を深める時間となりました」という声が寄せられました。

会場の設営から運営、撤収まで、さまざまなバックグラウンドのボランティアの皆さんにお手伝いをいただきました。手を動かしながら自然に会話が生まれ、世代や国籍を越えたつながりが育まれていく様子は、「インクルーシブフェスティバル」を象徴する光景でした。ここで生まれた出会いと対話、そして協働の経験が、 誰にとっても暮らしやすいインクルーシブな社会について考えるきっかけになれば嬉しいです。

As part of its 20th anniversary initiatives, Hands On Tokyo co-hosted the “Inclusive Festival 2026” in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education and BumB Tokyo Sports Culture Center. The program was held as a core experiential event within “Inclusive in BumB: Thinking Together with High School Students.”

A total of 282 participants visited our diversity and inclusion–themed experiential booths, supported by 113 dedicated volunteers. The venue was filled with smiles and a warm atmosphere, as people of all abilities, ages, genders, nationalities, and cultural backgrounds came together to meet, experience, and connect with one another.

At the Blind Sports Club Nogizaka Knights booth, Diversity Recreation, participants wore eye masks and took part in games that encouraged them to imagine how others feel and communicate in new ways. The activity created a fun and meaningful opportunity to experience cooperation and empathy beyond visual cues.

We were also joined by NPO Ryoiku World, who facilitated both the Human Library and Think Box programs. In the Human Library, participants became “readers” and engaged in dialogue with “books”－individuals living with disabilities or rare diseases－gaining insight into personal stories and perspectives they had not encountered before. In Think Box, participants used hands-on tools to experience differences in vision, hearing, and mobility, and then reflected together on what they felt and learned. One participant shared, “It was a meaningful time where I encountered stories and emotions I had never known before, and deepened my understanding of others.”

From setting up the venue to running the programs and clean up at the end of the day, volunteers from diverse backgrounds worked side by side. As they moved their hands together, conversations naturally began, and connections grew across generations and nationalities, truly embodying the spirit of the Inclusive Festival. We hope that the encounters, dialogue, and collaboration born here will inspire more people to think about how we can create a society where everyone can live with greater ease and belonging.

Happy Global Volunteer Month!

毎年4月に行われる「グローバルボランティア月間」は、世界中のボランティアを称え、より多くの人がボランティア活動に参加する機会を作るプロジェクトです。地域社会のために行動する皆さんを応援し、小さな行動が大きな変化につながることを広める取り組みです。

ボランティアの皆さん一人ひとりの力が、地域社会をより強くし、よりつながりのある世界へと変えていきます。ハンズオン東京は「グローバルボランティア月間」を通じて、皆さんが変化を生み出す一歩を応援します。

Global Volunteer Month, held every April, is a campaign that celebrates volunteers around the world, and creates opportunities for more people to participate in volunteer activities. It is an initiative that supports everyone who gives back to our communities, and promotes how small actions can lead to big changes.

The power of each volunteer strengthens our communities, and makes the world a more connected place. Hands On Tokyo supports everyone's steps to create change through Global Volunteer Month.
