2016年からスタートした「復興支援ベースボールプロジェクト」は今年で４回目を迎えることができました。今回は、Major League Baseball（MLB）ほか、皆さまの協力のもと、ロサンゼルスでの合宿が実現しました。現地では、MLBが、地域還元事業として展開している「Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities（RBI）プログラム（マイノリティや低所得世帯が多く住む地域を支援するプログラム）」と協働で、RBI チームの子どもたちと親善試合、交流などの活動を行いました。また、「私たちが考える災害発生時の対応」「スポーツマンシップとは」といったテーマでのワークショップ、地域の社会貢献活動としてビーチクリーニングを行いました。このプロジェクトを支援してくださったすべての皆様に心からの感謝を申し上げます。

First held in 2016, our baseball project to assist the revitalization of disaster struck areas had its 4th successful project in August. Students and coaches from Tohoku and Kumamoto enjoyed a 7-day project in Los Angeles. The students played a baseball game with the RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities Program) Team in Los Angeles, supported by Major League Baseball. Our team from Japan, participated in a workshop and volunteering with the theme of “What to Do When Disaster Strikes” and “Sportsmanship - #TimeforFairPlay.” A special thank you to Major League Baseball and all our wonderfully generous sponsors and supporters.


LA行きのフライトがキャンセルになったため、ZOZOマリンスタジアムで千葉ロッテマリーンズと東北楽天ゴールデンイーグルスの試合を観戦 As our flight was canceled, instead of flying to LAX, we went to Chiba ZOZO Marine Stadium for the Chiba Lotte Marines vs. Rakuten Eagles Game.	アナハイムではディズニーランドとディズニー・カリフォルニア・アドベンチャー・パークへ Traveling to Anaheim and riding Roller Coasters at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park.	現地でサポートしてくださったワンデスクファンデーションの皆さまの温かいお迎えに感謝！ Thank You One Desk Foundation for the warm Welcome!

ロサンゼルスのYakut U.S.A.の工場見学。歴史、グローバル化、生産プロセスについて学びました。Yakut U.S.A 清水社長から選手たちに素晴らしいメッセージをいただきました Learning About Yakult’s History, Globalization and Production Process. Thank You Shimizu-San (Yakult USA CEO) for Your Inspiring Message.	サウスコーストプラザの丸亀製麺にご招待いただきました。開店前のお店を貸し切り食べ放題にしてくださり、食欲旺盛な選手たちは大喜び Udon and All You Can Eat Buffet for Lunch at Marugame Udon at South Coast Plaza. Thank you for opening just for usbefore your official opening.	日本航空さまのご厚意により、ロサンゼルス・エンジェルス対デトロイト・タイガース戦を観戦 Thank you JAL for the tickets to Los Angeles Angels vs. Detroit Tigers game.

地元のチーム、オレンジカウンティ・エンジェルス RBI と対戦 Orange County Angels RBI vs. Japan Series.	石巻と熊本の野球少年たちが Japan チームとしてプレー Ishinomaki and Kumamoto played together as a Japan Team.	言葉や文化の壁を越えて野球がみんなをひとつにしてくれました The power of baseball as a common language bridging differences.

たくさんの笑顔。最高の思い出 So many smiles. Memories of a lifetime.	エンジェルススタジアムでのバックステージツアー VIP Tour of Angels Stadium	大谷翔平選手にお会いできました！ Time with a National Hero: Shohei Ohtani

全米日系人博物館で、それぞれが体験した震災や自然災害から学んだことについてプレゼンテーション Making presentations about their hometowns and what the natural disasters have taught them at Japanese American National Museum.	ボランティア活動のためビーチへ。地域社会に貢献する大切さと環境の保護について学ぶ機会になりました At the beach for volunteering. Learning about the importance of giving back to the local community and protecting the environment through beach cleaning.	無事に帰国。参加メンバー全員が、口々に「楽しかったです。良い経験ができました！」と言ってくれてました。プロジェクトをサポートしてくださった皆さま、どうもありがとうございました！ Safely home! Thank you everyone who supported the project. The trip was a huge success!

	■白寿荘 7月20日（土）、白寿荘プロジェクトを開催しました。このプロジェクトでは白寿荘に入居されている方たちと一緒に、さまざまな活動を楽しみます。この日はネイル、ビンゴなどをして楽しい時間を過ごしました。このプロジェクトにはどなたでも参加いただけます。ご家族での参加や小さいお子さまの参加も大歓迎です。 ■Hakujuso Senior Home Project On Saturday, July 20th, Hands On Tokyo held the Hakujuso Senior Home Project. In this project, we work with senior citizens living at Hakujuso Senior Home, providing a fun and interesting experience for the senior residents through interaction with volunteers of all ages and nationalities. This time, Hakujuso residents were happy to get their nails polished, and enjoyed a fun Bingo Game.
	■Sign Language Cafe Project 9月1日（日）に「Sign Language Cafe」を開催しました。「Sign Language Cafe」は楽しみながら手話に触れるワークショップです。今回は、LIVES TOKYOのテーマ曲、「Happy now」を手話で歌う練習を中心にした内容で行いました。ご参加ありがとうございました！ ■Sign Language Cafe Project Hands On Tokyo organized a Sign Language Cafe on Sunday, September 1st. The “Sign Language Cafe” is a fun workshop for learning Sign Language. This time, we were learning how to sing the theme song, “Happy now”, of our event LIVES TOKYO, in Sign Language.
	■済生会乳児院飾り付けプロジェクト 9月の「済生会乳児院飾り付けプロジェクト」の作品です。今回も素敵な作品ができました！　次回は10月7日(月) 10:30からハンズオン東京のオフィスで開催します。 ■Decoration Project for Saiseikai Infants Home Photo from the "Decoration Project for Saiseikai Infants Home,” in September. Thank you to all our volunteers for making a wonderful decoration. The next session will be held on Monday, October 7th, 10:30 at the Hands On Tokyo office.
