Day Of Service 2019
ハンズオン東京「デイ・オブ・サービス（DOS）」が、2019年10月20日（日）に東麻布区民協働スペースで行われました。参加ボランティア数は延べ194名、招待したパートナー団体の子ども・アスリート、そして一般のかたも含め、計331名の皆さんにご参加いただきました。今回もハンズオン東京のパートナーである児童養護施設の子どもたちや障がいのある方々が、ボランティアとしてブースの担当をしてくださり、色々な方々と関わることで周りの方の理解や自身の自立に繋げることができました。好天にも恵まれ、多くの方にご来場いただき、ハンズオン東京についてより深く知っていただくイベントになりました。イベントの成功のためにご協力くださった皆さま、どうもありがとうございました。
Hands On Tokyo's Day Of Service was held on Sunday, October 20th, 2019, at the Higashi Azabu Kumin Kyodo Space. There were 194 Hands On Tokyo volunteers, and in total 331 people participated, including community participants, children and invited athletes. Two of Hands On Tokyo's most important community partners, a children's home and an NPO for special needs individuals, also attended the event. They enjoyed the various booths around the area, but were also able to help out with the Day of Service activities as volunteers. It was a special bonding opportunity for volunteers and special needs students. We were blessed with good weather on the day, and many people attending, making our event a grand success. We are incredibly grateful for their attendance.

■Sign Language Cafe
11月30日（土）の「Sign Language Cafe」は、デフサッカー日本代表の塩田知弘選手にゲストにお越しいただき、いろいろなトピックについて手話で楽しくお話ししていただきました。塩田選手、どうもありがとうございました！ 次回は2月22日（土）に開催します。
■Sign Language Cafe
Hands On Tokyo organized a Sign Language Cafe on Saturday, November 30th. This time we had a guest speaker, Mr. Tomohiro Shiota, Japan National Deaf Soccer Team Player. We enjoyed having a conversation on a variety of fun topics in Sign Language. Thank you for coming, Mr. Shiota! The next session will be held on Saturday, February 22nd. |

■白寿荘
11月の「白寿荘プロジェクト」の写真です。このプロジェクトでは、養護老人ホーム白寿荘に入居されている方たちとクラフトやゲームなど、さまざまな活動を楽しみながら一緒に過ごします。ご家族での参加や小さいお子さまの参加も大歓迎です。次回は2月15日（土）に開催します。
■Hakujuso Senior Home Project
Photo from the "Hakujuso Senior Home Project,” in November. In this project, you will join with senior citizens living at Hakujuso Senior Home, helping to provide a fun and interesting experience, such as various crafts and games. All ages of Volunteers are welcome. The next session will be held on Saturday, February 15th. |

■ありすの杜 スマイルプロジェクト
12月18日（水）の「ありすの杜 スマイルプロジェクト」では、入居者の皆さんと一緒にピアノの演奏を楽しみながら歌を歌い、楽しい時間を過ごしました。次回は2月19日（水）に開催します。
■Arisu no Mori Smile Project
On Wednesday, December 18th, we had the Arisu no Mori Smile Project. Both residents of Arisu no Mori senior home and our volunteers very much enjoyed the mini piano concert. Also, we enjoyed singing songs together. The next session will be held on Wednesday, February 19th. |

■コーポレート・ボランティア・プログラム
2019年、ハンズオン東京は、59のコーポレート・ボランティア・プログラムを実施し、計916名の企業ボランティアの皆さんにご参加いただきました。児童養護施設の子どもたちのためのライフスキルプログラム、高齢者の皆さんとの交流会、荒川の清掃、狭山丘陵での森林保全など、私たちのコミュニティーのさまざまなニーズに合った、有意義なボランティア活動を行うことができました。ご支援、ご参加いただいた企業スポンサーの皆さんに改めて感謝申し上げます。どうもありがとうございました。
■Corporate Volunteer Program
In the year 2019, we were able to develop 59 different programs engaging total of 916 corporate volunteers to have impact in our community needs. Life-skill programs for under-privileged children, activities with senior citizens, Arakawa river cleaning, forest conversation at Sayama hills are some of the examples of the programs we developed to have positive impact in our communities while engaging corporate employees in meaningful volunteering opportunities. We express our deepest gratitude to all our corporate sponsors for your support and involvement. |
