2023年4月1～30日に行われたグローバルボランティア月間では、140のプロジェクトを実施し、673名のボランティアの皆さんにご参加いただきました。受益者は3,340名、ボランティア時間は1,200時間でした。たくさんの皆さんにご協力いただき、素晴らしい実績を地域に還元することができました。どうもありがとうございました！

Thank you for supporting Global Volunteer Month 2023!

During Global Volunteer Month, April 1-30, we completed 140 projects and engaged 673 volunteers. We had 3,340 beneficiaries and 1,200 volunteer hours. Thanks to the cooperation of so many of you, we were able to give back to the community with great results. Thank you so much!

Hands On Tokyo Community Program
ハンズオン東京では、さまざまなコミュニティパートナーの皆さんと毎月約90のプログラムを開催しています。活動内容は、スポーツ、スペシャルニーズの子どもたちの付き添い、子ども食堂、地域の清掃など、多岐にわたります。皆さんの興味のある活動にぜひご参加ください！

Hands On Tokyo organizes about 90 programs each month with various community partners. Activities include playing sports, escort children with special needs, community  cleaning up, and much more. We invite you to participate in activities that interest you!

スペシャルオリンピックスのアスリートと一緒にチアダンスを楽しみませんか？ この活動は、スペシャルオリンピックスの「ユニファイドスポーツプログラム」で、知的障がいのあるアスリートと知的障がいのないパートナー（ボランティア）がチームメイトとなり、一緒にスポーツを楽しむプログラムです。
Let's enjoy cheerleading dance with Special Olympics Athletes! This activity is one of the Unified Sports programs of Special Olympics. Unified Sports is Special Olympics' unique initiatives in which athletes with intellectual disabilities and partners (volunteers) without intellectual disabilities become teammates, both playing and enjoying sports together.

■Motor Development Program
Date: Saturday, June 10 , June 17, morning
Venue: National Olympics Memorial Youth Center (Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo)

スペシャルオリンピックスの機能開発プログラム（Motor Development Program、MDP）は、発達障がいのある小学生のアスリートたちが、ダンスやエクササイズ、ゲームなどを通じて運動機能を少しずつ伸ばしていく課程をサポートするプログラムです。ボランティアの皆さんには、スペシャルオリンピックスのコーチと一緒に、アスリートが楽しみながら活動できるよう、お手伝いをお願いします。
The Special Olympics Motor Development Program (MDP) supports elementary children with intellectual disabilities (not physical) as they gradually improve their motor skills through dance, exercise and games. Volunteers are asked to work with Special Olympics coaches to help the athletes enjoy their activities.

視覚障がいのあるかたを対象としたテニスのレッスンのお手伝いしていただきます。会場の準備、球出し、球拾いのほか、プレーヤーの皆さんが楽しくプレーできるように応援をお願いします。
Volunteers are asked to assist with tennis practice for the visually impaired. Please help with venue set-up, ball distribution, ball retrieval and cheering so the players can enjoy their game.

Helping special needs children go to swim club

この活動では、特別支援学校愛育学園の愛育スイミングクラブの子どもたちとプールに通う、引率の先生方のお手伝いをします。子どもたちの荷物のお世話や、安全に歩くことができるかなどの確認をお願いします。
In this activity, volunteers help the teachers leading the children of the Aiiku Swimming Club at Aiiku Gakuen, a special needs school, to the swimming pool. Please take care of the children's belongings and make sure they walk safely.

政府の調査によると、日本では子どもの7人に1人が貧困状態にあります。まんぼう子ども食堂は、家族と一緒に食事ができない子どもや、貧困状態にある世帯、ひとり親世帯のかたなど、約80人が集まる「こども食堂」です。ボランティアの皆さんには、この食堂で調理のお手伝いや、料理のサーブ、お片付けをお願いします。
One in seven children in Japan lives in poverty, according to a government survey. Mambo Kodomo Sgokudo is a "children's cafe" where about 80 people gather, including children who cannot eat with their families, families in poverty, and single-parent households. In this project, volunteers are asked to help with cooking, serving and cleaning up at this cafeteria.

「超ダイバーシティボランティア！」プロジェクトは、小中学生が、力を合わせて高齢者へのボランティア活動を行い、交流を深めるプログラムです。この活動を通して、障がいのある子もない子も、インターナショナルスクールに通う子も、自分たちが住む地域でボランティア活動を行い、高齢者も含めた多世代での交流が盛んな「超ダイバーシティ」な地域の実現を目指します。
Super Diversity Volunteering is a program for elementary and junior high school students in the Aoyama area to deepen their interaction with the elderly through volunteer activities. Through this program, we aim to create a "super-diverse" community where children with and without disabilities, as well as children attending international schools, can volunteer in their communities and where intergenerational interactions, including the elderly.

箕面の山の美化活動を目的に2004年に設立された箕面の山パトロール隊の皆さんと一緒に、不法投棄対策活動や四季折々の自然に触れ合いながらクリーンハイクを行い、環境に対する意識を高めます。今回は５歳～小学生までのキッズボランティアを募集します！
（保護者の同伴でお願いします）
With Minoo Patrol Organization, who was established in 2004 to clean and keep Minoo mountain, we will enjoy cleaning and hiking while interaction with nature. This time, we are looking for kids volunteers from 5 years old to elementary school students! (Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
