A Gathering of Leaders of Impact
企業リーダーの皆さまにお集まりいただきました
6月20日、東京アメリカンクラブにて、アニュアルイベント「Hands@Work」を開催いたしました。ハンズオン東京の活動にご理解とご協力をいただいている皆さまは、社会課題に対する意識が高く、さまざまな形で社会貢献を実践されている素晴らしい企業リーダーの方々です。そうした皆さまにお集まりいただき、お互いの取り組みを知り、交流を深めていただく機会が、この「Hands@Work」です。そして、現場で日々活動されている登壇者の皆さまから、リアルな課題や想いを直接受け取り、社会課題を「自分ごと」として考えるきっかけとしていただく場でもあります。
On June 20, we held our annual event, “Hands@Work,” at the Tokyo American Club. Many members of the Hands On Tokyo community are exceptional corporate leaders who understand and support our mission. They demonstrate a strong awareness of social issues and actively contribute to society in diverse ways. Hands@Work is a special opportunity for these individuals to come together, learn about each other’s initiatives, strengthen their connections, and hear directly from speakers working on the front lines of these issues.
当日は、31の企業・団体から45名の皆さまをお迎えし、ハンズオン東京の活動報告に加え、ゲストスピーカーをお招きしてのトークセッションを行いました。

We welcomed 45 participants from 31 companies and organizations to the event, which included updates on Hands On Tokyo’s activities as well as talk sessions with guest speakers.

支援を必要とする子どもたちやそのご家庭に寄り添う活動を続ける「まんぼう子ども食堂」の能美弓子さんには、子ども食堂設立の経緯と現場から見えている課題についてお話しいただきました。

Ms. Yumiko Yoshimi, founder of the Manbou Children’s Cafeteria, which supports children and families in vulnerable situations, shared the story behind its founding and spoke about the challenges she faces in her daily work.

児童心理治療施設「弘済のぞみ園」の山路明大さんには、虐待や一時保護の増加を背景に、現場で求められている支援と、その担い手のサポートの重要性について実例を交えてお話しいただきました。

Mr. Akio Yamaji from Kosai Nozomi-en, a child psychological treatment facility, spoke about the growing need for support in the field in light of increasing cases of abuse and temporary protection. He highlighted the importance of not only supporting children, but also those who care for them, sharing real-life examples from his work.

トランスジェンダー当事者として活動する宮城教育大学非常勤講師の勝又栄政さんからは、多様な生き方や在り方を尊重できる社会について、ご自身の体験をもとにお話しいただきました。

Mr. Terumasa Katsumata, a lecturer at Miyagi University of Education who lives as a man and has navigated gender identity challenges, shared his personal story and experiences. He spoke about the importance of creating a society that respects and embraces diverse ways of living and being.
トークセッションに続いて、「企業としてどのように社会的インパクトを生み出していけるか？」をテーマに、テーブルごとのディスカッションとアイデアの共有が行われました。各参加者の視点が交わり、活発な意見交換の場となりました。

Following the talk session, participants engaged in table discussions and shared ideas on the theme of “How can companies create social impact?” Each table shared ideas, creating a space for dynamic and solution-driven dialogue.
「まんぼう子ども食堂」創設者、能美弓子さんにご参加いただいた感想を伺いました。「いつもハンズオン東京の活動を通じて、多くの企業の皆さまからご支援をいただき、心より感謝申し上げます。Hands@Work は、素晴らしい企業の方々や意識の高い皆さまに、私たちの取り組みや現状を知っていただく大変良い機会だと感じました。特に、企業の皆さま同士が、直接情報交換できるという点は非常に大きな影響力があり、このような場はとても貴重で、これからも必要な機会だと改めて思いました」

We asked Ms. Yumiko Yoshimi, founder of the Manbou Children’s Cafeteria, about her impressions of the event. "We are deeply grateful for the support we receive from so many companies through Hands On Tokyo’s activities. I felt that Hands@Work was a wonderful opportunity for outstanding companies and highly motivated individuals to learn more about our initiatives and current efforts. In particular, the fact that companies can directly exchange information with one another is highly impactful, and I was reminded that such opportunities are both valuable and necessary in the future."
ご参加いただいた皆さまのお話から、社会の見えにくい課題や、誰もが安心して生きられる未来に向けた多くの気づきをいただきました。ハンズオン東京は、今後もこのような対話の場を大切にし、皆さまと共に、より良い社会づくりに向けた一歩を踏み出してまいります。

Through the insights shared by participants, we gained valuable perspectives on invisible social issues and ideas for building a future where everyone can live with peace of mind. Hands On Tokyo values these dialogue platforms and looks forward to collaborating with you to take the first steps toward creating a better society.
