あなたの手から生まれた桜が春を運びます
Your SAKURA blossoms spread the joy of spring.

高齢者施設や母子支援施設、児童養護施設、乳児院で生活する方々に、人とのつながりや季節の彩りを感じてほしい……そんな想いから、ハンズオン東京は今年も「さくらプロジェクト」を実施しました。

ボランティアの皆さんが心を込めて作った桜が、さまざまな施設に春の訪れとあたたかな気持ちを届けました。

With the hope of bringing a sense of connection and the colors of the seasons to residents in senior homes, mother-and-child support facilities, children's homes and infants' homes, Hands On Tokyo carried out the “Sakura Project” again this year.

The cherry blossoms carefully crafted by our volunteers delivered the arrival of spring and warm feelings to many facilities.

一人ひとりの桜が集まって、満開の春の景色が生まれました

「さくらプロジェクト」は、桜をテーマにしたクラフトを通じて、コミュニティパートナー施設の皆さんに季節の彩りとつながりを届ける活動です。

ボランティアの皆さんには、それぞれのアイデアや工夫を活かしながら、桜の花を制作していただきました。ひとつひとつの作品には、それぞれの想いが込められています。

日本国内だけでなく、海外在住のボランティアの皆さんから集まった桜が施設に届けられ、ひとつの大きな作品として飾られました。

子どもたちや高齢者の方々と一緒に装飾を楽しむ活動では、施設の中の空間がやさしい色に彩られ、春の訪れを感じるひとときに、自然と笑顔が広がりました。

このプロジェクトは、誰かを想う気持ちが、人と人とをやさしくつなぐ活動です。皆さんの桜が、今年もたくさんの場所に春と笑顔を届けてくれました。

Each individual blossom came together to create a full bloom of spring.

The “Sakura Project” is an initiative that delivers seasonal color and a sense of connection to our community partner facilities through cherry blossom-themed crafts.

Each volunteer created cherry blossoms using their own ideas and creativity, and every piece carries a unique thought and care.

Cherry blossoms were gathered from across Japan and from volunteers living overseas, then delivered to the facilities, where they came together as one large collaborative artwork.

Through activities where children and elderly residents decorated spaces together, the facilities were filled with soft colors, and moments of spring naturally brought smiles to everyone.

This project is about caring for others and gently connecting people through that feeling. Once again this year, your cherry blossoms brought spring and smiles to many places.

■ 約4,800個の桜の花が咲きました！

今年は、個人ボランティアと企業ボランティアの皆さんが制作してくださった桜の花が、合わせて約4,800個になりました。

皆さんの手から生まれた桜は、高齢者施設、児童養護施設、母子生活支援施設、放課後等デイサービスなど、26のコミュニティパートナー施設に届けられ、それぞれの場所で春を感じるやさしい景色をつくり出しました。

■ Approximately 4,800 cherry blossoms in full bloom!

A total of approximately 4,800 cherry blossoms were created by individual and corporate volunteers this year.

The blossoms you created were delivered to 24 community partner facilities－including senior homes, children’s homes, mother-and-child support facilities, and after-school programs－bringing a gentle sense of spring to each location.

「入居者の皆さんと一緒に飾りつけを行い、とても華やかになりました。室内でもお花見気分を楽しむことができ、皆さんに喜ばれています」

Senior homes

“We decorated together with the residents, and it became very vibrant. Everyone is enjoying the feeling of cherry blossom viewing indoors.”

“We displayed the cherry blossoms on one wall of our community space. The entire area instantly became bright and spring-like.”

“We decorated the dining hall. It brightened the space, and we were able to feel the arrival of spring together with the residents.”

4月はグローバルボランティア月間です
Happy Global Volunteer Month!

毎年4月に行われる「グローバルボランティア月間」は、世界中のボランティアを称え、より多くの人がボランティア活動に参加する機会を作るプロジェクトです。地域社会のために行動する皆さんを応援し、小さな行動が大きな変化につながることを広める取り組みです。

ボランティアの皆さん一人ひとりの力が、地域社会をより強くし、よりつながりのある世界へと変えていきます。ハンズオン東京は「グローバルボランティア月間」を通じて、皆さんが変化を生み出す一歩を応援します。

Global Volunteer Month, held every April, is a campaign that celebrates volunteers around the world, and creates opportunities for more people to participate in volunteer activities. It is an initiative that supports everyone who gives back to our communities, and promotes how small actions can lead to big changes.

The power of each volunteer strengthens our communities, and makes the world a more connected place. Hands On Tokyo supports everyone's steps to create change through Global Volunteer Month.
